Hi all,

My name is Rob and i am playing the character Imoteph, a stygian Tempest of Set. I am 33 years old and lives in Stockholm in Sweden. I work as a familytherapist when I dont play games. I have been playing video games since I was a child and I´ve also been playing Roleplaying games off and on since I was a child. I played WOW earlier and also Neverwinternights and LOTR online. Playing games and RPing has been a hobby of mine for quite some time and during periods of studies and work I see it as a great way of how to relax.

I have no gain nor interest in beeing worshipped outside this game, its just a funny idea and a platform for fun RP me and my IRL friend (Bazuth) came up with. The cult is an idea of how to try to act as a DM (Dungeon Master) or GM (Game Master) for our members in giving you an environment for RP and different dodgy missions to complete. I have other characters in the game also I must add, and most of them will join the guild or cult.

Imoteph is convinced he chosen by Set. He is chosen to lead the Stygians closer to Set and follow the gods true words. He is also convinced that Set speaks to him in his dreams or in signs for him to follow. He care for Stygia and he cares much for his followers, you can by all means say that he loves them deeply. He is afraid that at this moment in time, other Stygian priests and different cults are making the Stygians turn away from Set and by doing this will unleash the Gods wrath upon Stygia. Therefore he wish to save as many Stygians as he can to follow the right path.

When you think of Imoteph, think of a charismatic, warm, intelligent confident man. He is that kind of guy you feel safe with and trust.

Hi! My name is Rich and i play Xanthes, currently a level 19 HoX (Herald of Xotli). I'm 22 years old and live in a small town called Berwick-Upon-Tweed in Northern England. I've just finished my 4th year at The University of Sunderland studying Criminology. I've been playing RPG's for a long time, and i've played a lot of MMO's too! I still own a WoW account and also have played LoTRO and occasionally play Guild Wars.

Xanthes is a devout follower, who will do whatever it takes, even sacrificing his own life. His loyalty to Set, Imoteph and his brothers and sisters within our cult is unshakeable and he will stand side by side with them until the end. He is just coming to grips with his dark powers and longs to be back in Stygia. He cannot remember what it is like but has heard tales and his main purpose in life just now is getting there by any means necessary.

Hi there!

My name is Erling (that's a nordic (male) name), and i live in the northern parts of norway. 27 years old, starting on my first job in about a month (less playtime coming up).I have been RPGing for about ten years, and this is my first MMORPG. There's some stuff that i'm not used to, and other stuff i have no idea about how works, but bear with me, i'll try to keep up:) And btw, i just gotta say how glad i was when someone started RPing! I had totally given up hope after saying hello to such fine characters as "Vaginator", "picachu", "hgkjfhgjd", and some guy who ran around ganking people for about three hours on the same spot.

Anyway, my character is a female assassin (inspiration from a fantasy-series), and she is a bit overwhelmed by the latest development. She is a firm believer in Set, but has seen too much to accept everything at face value. In the start, she may have some small suspicions (but act like everything is fine), but probably come to accept that what has happened is in fact a good thing. She may not be a fanatical follower (but she may become one), but is too scared to loose a chance like this, that she'll be doing everything she can to earn the trust of the other members. She may feel like she has something to prove. Other than that, she's a character in development, so this'll be fun!

Well, if i have any questions, i'll just ask ingame (and there's going to be quite a lot of them!)

Edit: you can basically ignore the stuff i've written over. She's a cat: Graceful, proud, self-confident, smiling, playful and calm; on the other hand she's vicious, cruel, a show-off, likes to torment people, and thinks way too much of herself.

Hi. I'm a 27 year old Construction worker from Norway. I have played a few mmo's before, but this is the first time I have played an mmo with RP'ing (witch makes me pretty new to RP in a mmo) The reason I can RP a Stygian better than any other race is that I have read the Conan comics for 16 years now and have allways loved Stygians in the comics (+ later read up on Set and Stygia on wikipedia and more) My main toon is a herald of Xotli named Rahotep.


Rahotep: Rahotep is a Magician that made a dark and unholy pact with the demongod Xotli so he easier can carry out Set's will. Rahotep is calm, relaxed but got a wide knowlege of the world he lives in as he loves to read both magical tomes and books about history. Rahotep was born in the purple Lotus Swamps and hate northeners and specially the Aesir as they killed his family and enslaved him at young age (that explains his pale skin from living in Aasgard)
Once he escaped an old man (that was a mage of some sort) took him innto care and began to train him in the arts of magic. Rahotep's thirst for power only grew that day as he later Made the a pact with Xotli for even more powers as he wields a large two handed sword that he learned to use as a slave in Aasgard.
Now Rahotep resides in Khemi and his quest for power has given him some wealth aswell, meaning Rahotep wants to be a noble of Stygia (And to be treated as one) and to live the good life, Sitting in nice places with good friends talking, eating good foot and drinking expencive wine and chew black lotus.
As more and more northeners has began to apear in Stygia, Rahotep now feels it is enough and has joined Imoteph in the quest to protect the borders of this beautifull country called Stygia and to chase these northeners off.
Rahotep is allso a gentleman (especially in the presense of Stygian women) but a ruthless Demon when facing an enemy (Northeners) as he will stop at nothing to keep Stygia safe.
Rahotep really like Imoteph tho he dont "praise" him as most of his children does. He is still extremley loyal to both Imoteph and his children.
Riding the desert on a black stygian stallion with imoteph and his children is something Rahotep has really come to enjoy.

25, male from Norway. I spend most my time at work, with my girlfriend and friends drinking coffee at the local diner. I currently work in aluminum construction, witch I really enjoy, making sliding doors and frames for said doors. We mainly make our products for yachts.

Amahte

"To have power over" As the name implies, Amahte is a necromancer.

Born in Khemi, but lived with his family at Caravanserai where he was helping his father running a caravan staging center.
Amahte cannot remember much of his past, but the vicious memory of his family being slaughtered by passing-by northerners is burnt into his brain.
He swore vengeance and became an apprentice of the local mage...

The years went by, and with each passing day his hatred grew only stronger. The apprenticeship abruptly came to an end when the master denied him the knowledge of undeath, fearing the intentions of his student. With furious anger and seething with pure hate Amahte slew the mage with such brutality that the great serpentgod, Set himself would be proud!
Fearing for his life, Amahte fled Caravanserai and began a life in the sands of Stygia. Ever evading people, ever vigilant.

During the years on the sands, many aspects of magic were studied...experimented with... Northfolk straying too far from the "civilized" border ranges soon became the main ...ingredient... in many experiments.
Experiments that eventually lead to the secret of unlife...

Amahte is a silent man, a man of solitude, a man of great sorrow... and a man harnessing great power!
